Petrol Centrifugal Pump (WPX 3/30)

Sits on the ground outside the water, draws water up through a suction hose and pushes it out through a delivery hose. Runs on petrol so needs no mains power – the right choice for remote sites, farms, and any dewatering job without electricity. Very high flow rates. Must run outdoors due to exhaust.

Submersible Pump

Sits in the water, plugs into mains electricity, pumps from below. Quieter than petrol, safe indoors, easier to position in tight spots like flooded basements. Needs a power supply. Lower flow rates than a big centrifugal. Right choice for indoor flooding, cellars, and jobs with mains power on hand.

Standard Centrifugal Pump

Suction inlet needs at least a few centimetres of water to draw properly, so leaves a small puddle at the end. High flow rate for shifting large volumes fast. Handles small debris and silt but not larger solids or sludge (trash pumps handle those).

Puddle Pump / Residual Water Pump
