Fall Arrest Blocks
A fall arrest block (also known as a inertia reel) is a critical safety device designed to protect workers when operating at height. The self-retracting lifeline automatically pays out and retracts as the user moves, keeping the line under tension and helping reduce slack and trip hazards.
In the event of a fall, the inertia locking mechanism activates rapidly, locking the lifeline and helping arrest the fall while the integrated energy absorber helps reduce impact forces. A fall indicator provides a visual check to show whether the unit has been deployed.
Ideal for construction, roofing, scaffolding, maintenance, and other work-at-height applications, fall arrest blocks provide greater freedom of movement while maintaining continuous protection.
Key Features:
- Self-retracting lifeline
- Automatic retraction reduces slack
- Rapid inertia locking system
- Helps limit fall arrest forces
- Fall indicator for easy inspection
